The cost of fees for students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln varies by enrollment status and course selection. For undergraduate students, tuition is estimated based on 15 credit hours per semester, plus fees for technology, library, and university program facilities. Special course fees may apply.

Classroom Course Delivery
Classroom courses are designed to provide real-time interaction between an instructor and students in a group setting. In-person and web conferencing course delivery methods rely on real-time, face-to-face interaction in a traditional classroom or through a web-based video conferencing platform like Zoom with supplemental course materials made available through Canvas.

Online Course Fee
This fee is associated with the support and resources provided to instructors by the university's team of instructional design specialists within the Center for Transformative Teaching and individual colleges. Examples of support include designing course structure, preparing course materials, enhancing engagement and community for classes without real-time interaction, and methods for assessing student learning and maintaining academic excellence for highly flexible courses.
Course and lab fees are specific to a course and charges on applicable courses will be indicated in the “Class Notes” of the section.

Online Course Delivery
Online courses are created with different methodologies and tools than classroom courses. These courses are designed to allow students to move forward independently through course modules without a traditional classroom experience. Most courses have an instructional designer and media services team who provide support to instructors to help design these modules. Online courses provide students with the most flexibility with their coursework.
